Three methods of precise orientation of gyro theodolite

Here is the tracking reversal point method. When the gyro theodolite is oriented at a measuring point by the tracking reversal point method, the operation procedure is roughly as follows:
1.Strictly set up the theodolite, mount the gyroscope, measure the direction of the line with a round, and then roughly tilt the instrument to the north;
2.Decentralize the sensitive part and perform zero observation before the test;
3.for rough orientation, it can be done by the attachment coarse directional compass, or by two-point reversal point method, quarter cycle method and swing method.
4.The theodolite rotates to the position of the coarse orientation direction, and the gyro is started. After the rated speed is reached, the gyro sensitive part is slowly lowered, and the limiting is performed, and the micro-rotation spiral is used for tracking. Tracking needs to be smooth and continuous. Do not keep track of time, and sometimes lag behind the swing of the sensitive department, and sometimes catch up with or exceed a lot. Because of these conditions, the accuracy of the results is affected. When the swing reaches the reversal point, continuously read 5 reversal point readings U1U2U3U4U5
5.Lock the gyro and brake it, and observe the zero position after the test;
6.Determine the direction value of the line with a round of measurement. When the difference between the two measurements is consistent with the tolerance, take the average value as the line direction value. The calculation steps of the directional side coordinate direction angle are as follows: gyro azimuth = line direction value - gyro north direction value geographic azimuth = gyro azimuth angle + instrument constant coordinate azimuth angle = geographic azimuth - meridian convergence angle instrument constant can be known The azimuth of the wire or the triangle point is determined, and the instrument constant is used to calculate the geographic azimuth.
