It adopts the unique IntelliProcess technology, which not only minimizes the influence of temperature change on the performance of the gyroscope, but also significantly improves the key indicators of fiber optic gyro such as zero-bias stability, angular random walk, scale factor linearity and stability. 2. Main Functions:

The fiber optic gyroscope (FOG) can sense the change of direction, so the function of the traditional mechanical gyroscope can be realized. FOG was first proposed by Vali and Shortill in 1976. Fiber optic gyroscopes provide very accurate rotation information. They are insensitive to vibration, acceleration and shock between axes. Compared with traditional inertial spin gyroscopes, FOG can measure the rotation state without moving parts, independent of motion inertia. Reliable, so FOG is used in high performance aerospace applications.

The function of the fiber optic gyroscope is based on the interference of light passing through a fiber coil of up to 5 kilometers. Two laser beams are simultaneously injected into the fiber from both ends of the same fiber. Since the speed of light is fixed, in the case of rotation, the optical path of one of the beams is slightly shorter than the optical path of the other, so that there is a phase difference between the two beams, and the phase difference can be interfered. Instrument measured (Segnik effect). In this way, the component of the angular velocity can be converted into a change in the interference mode that can be measured by the photodetector. The development of semiconductor lasers and the development of low-loss single-mode fibers in the 1970s prompted the application of the Segnik effect. The laser light from the semiconductor laser is split, and the two beams of light that are incident on the fiber coil are respectively propagated clockwise and counterclockwise. The strength of the Segnik effect depends on the effective cross section of the closed path.
